How to dose spices, flavourings or vanilla?
Dosage is often a matter of taste! To guide you, we provide suggestions for use on the packaging and on the online product sheet. If a maximum quantity is indicated on the label, it's best to follow it to enjoy the product with complete peace of mind.
How long do spices keep after opening?
It depends on the product, but in general, spices can be kept for several months after opening, provided they are kept in an airtight container and protected from light, heat and humidity. Their aroma may fade over time, but this does not make them unfit for consumption. Trust your senses: observe, smell, taste!
But don't panic, the product can still be consumed after the expiry date.
What's the difference between DDM and DLC?
DDM (Date de Durabilité Minimale): Indicates the date up to which the product retains all its qualities (taste, texture, color) if stored under good conditions. Once this date has passed, the product can be safely consumed, but its taste qualities may be diminished. This is the case for all our products with a displayed date.
BBD (Best Before Date): Indicates the date beyond which the product is likely to present a health hazard. It applies only to highly perishable products.
My product's MDD (Minimum Durability Date) has expired. What can I do?
If you wish to use it, first check that the packaging is intact. Next, check that the material does not have a distinctive look or smell.
We do not know under what conditions the product was stored during its validity date, and therefore cannot guarantee that the product will be compliant. Caution remains your best ally!
